Wauseon Lady Indians Fall In NWOAL Action To Delta At Home



WAUSEON, April 17– The Wauseon Lady Indians played host to neighboring Delta on April 17, falling to the visiting Lady Panthers 13-9 in a slugfest.

On the mound for the Lady Indians, Samantha Norman opened up the game, going 2 and 1/3 innings, allowing 8 runs off of 6 hits and taking the loss. Also on the mound for Wauseon, Brooke Whipple came in the game in relief of Norman, giving up 9 hits and 5 runs in the loss.

Offensively for Wauseon, Ashley Smith powered out a over the fence shot, while Breanna Coblentz, Tiffany King, Olivia Banister and Faith Hicks each recorded a double in the loss, while Whipple powered out 2 doubles.
