The Lady Indians challenged Scott High School on August 25, and came away with a convincing victory in every set played.
Autumn Dominique took her singles match with dual 6-1 wins for the Wauseon girls. Also on the Indians’ behalf, MacKenzie Eberly shut her opponent out in their first set with a score of 6-0. Set two saw Eberly earn a 6-2 victory. Due to Scott not having a third singles player, Kaitlyn Sager was awarded a win by forfeit for Wauseon.
In doubles competition, the Lady Indians sent the combination of Cassidy Bames and Michelle Whitmer to battle in the first match. The pair claimed the first set 6-1, and the second 6-2. Sarah Becker and Paige Moden also teamed up, defeating Scott’s offering 6-0 and 6-2.
