Wauseon Takes Down Central Catholic To Advance In Sectionals

(October 15th, 2014): In post-season play, the Lady Indians of Wauseon won their first match in sectional play against Toledo Central Catholic. Shutting out their opponent, the Wauseon girls took the game 2-0.

Vital to keeping Central scoreless was Keeper Hannah Spadafore, who deflected all seven of their attempts on the Indian goal. On the other end of the field, Wauseon managed nine shots at Central’s net.

Making both Lady Indian goals were made by Freshman Jayedlin Vasvery, who continues her sensational first venture into the high school soccer world.
