Williams Soil & Water Conservation District Holding Introductory Meeting At Williams SWCD

1238967_510525325691455_306623646_n_thumb8Water flows all around us moving in streams and rivers, moving on the ground and moving under the ground. However, what do you really know about that water? Do you really understand the attributes of a river? And what is a watershed and which one do you live in? How does Williams County affect Lake Erie? Do you know how bugs can tell you about the river quality? We take so much for granted and forget about the life in the stream and what it tells us about our environment. Join as we begin a journey learning about the mysteries of the water around us!

The Williams Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and OSU Extension Williams County will be holding an introductory meeting at the Williams SWCD office, 1120 West High Street, in Bryan on Tuesday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m. covering some of the basics of water dynamics and river monitoring. If you or anyone you know are interested in participating, please contact the Williams SWCD office at (419) 636-2349 Ext. 3 or at lhayek@williamsswcd.org.
