Williams Soil & Water Conservation District Taking Orders For Trees

NEWSPAPER LOGOThe Williams Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is currently taking orders for the annual tree seedling sale through March 21st. Trees will be ready to pick up during the Maple Syrup Festival on Saturday, March 22, at the Williams County Fairgrounds. A variety of bare root tree seedlings are available. Colorado blue spruce, Norway spruce, and white pine are available in bundles of 10 or 25 and range in height from 6 to 15 inches. Arborvitae is available in bundles of 10 and range in height from 9 to 12 inches.

Sugar maple, northern red oak, eastern redbud and butterfly bush are available in bundles of five and range in height from 18 to 24 inches tall.

Marking flags, fertilizer tablets, wildflower seed packets, and tree planting bars are also available for purchase.
